I actually visited a Bed Bath & Beyond last weekend, but didn't see this sweepstakes advertised anywhere in the store. I did see it on the back of the BB&B catalog I received in the mail over the weekend. The way this sweepstakes is advertised, you may think that only parents of college students may enter. I've read the rules, and that's not the case. I always enter every sweepstakes I find at least one time, and that's what I'll be doing with this sweepstakes, even though I have no kids.
What can you win?
One grand prize winner will receive the following:
- A dorm room makeover, awarded in the form of a $2,500 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card and a $2,500 Staples gift card
- A home office makeover, also awarded in the form of a $2,500 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card and a $2,500 Staples gift card
- Two Smart Fortwo passion coupe cars. You can choose to receive a check for $30,970 instead of the cars. The cars are only available to winners within the continental United States, and cash will be awarded if the winner resides in HI or AK.
Three first prize winners will receive a $1,000 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card and a $1,000 Staples gift card.
10 second prize winners will receive a $250 Bed Bath & Beyond gift card and a $250 Staples gift card.
TEN (10) SECOND PRIZES: $250 Bed Bath & Beyond® Gift Card and $250 Staples® Gift Card ARV: $500 each.

This sweepstakes has some very interesting rules. The first mail-in entry received from any person or household on a given day will count as one entry, and each additional entry received from the same person or household on the same day will count as 15 entries. You are limited to 3 mail-in entries per day, for a grand total of 31 entries per day. Snail mail entries must be postmarked by September 3, 2008 and received at the above address by September 10, 2008.
Can I enter online?
Yes, visit the Bed Bath & Beyond web site to enter online. You may enter once per person per day. Online entries are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 2, 2008.
